Eastern Carbide Tool was established in 1989 to provide high quality tools to the metal drawing and stamping industry of the area. Eastern has produced a wide array of tools, from very simple carbide parts to intricate complex form dies and punches. These tools are custom built for any type of product, process, production equipment etc.

ECT have worked closely with our customer's design and development engineering departments to help them optimize their production capabilities with our high quality carbide tooling. These tools have been incorporated into many production processes and have preformed far superior then conventional tooling. The cost savings due to down time of conventional tooling with its standard maintenance such as re-sharpening, reworking, replacement, etc. makes it a easy and smart choice to consider long lasting carbide tooling for all your production needs.

With several decades of tooling experience, a decision was made to pursue the natural progression into high-speed product development. A new division to pursue these products has been established called Eastern Deep Draw. This new company will be able to provide you with cost effective metal drawn products, and has the capacity to produce complete tooling packages in house passing these cost savings on to our valued customers. We will work with your purchasing, engineering, and quality personal to develop any product your company may need.

The EDD goal has always been to save time and money by developing a complete part. This may include a wide array of secondary operations like side piercing, bumps, lettering, flanges, necking, rolling, curling, etc., which could be incorporated into our initial manufacturing operations.

We also have tremendous experience and access to all types of special processing such as plating, anodizing, heat treating, annealing, passivation, complex cleaning operations, etc.
